Use the quick
acting locks to open the cover and remove it towards the rear. You may use a
mounting tool Montagehilfe optional(item no. 401 624) in order to facilitate the mounting process |

| Unscrew the shielding block in order to contact the braided shield of the cable |  |
| Prepare the cable
according to the corresponding guidelines
laid down by Dätwyler. The figure shows the 3004 4P cable with the correspondig stripping
tool ABI 34 (item no.

| Open the snap-in
clip and insert the wires with their foil shield. The overall shield (foil or cupper
braid) is positioned on the shieling block.
Please note: The snap-in clip is made of a conductive synthetic material and is connected with the housing by means of a screw. |
